Get into shape for farm work.
I hate doing the weights and treadmill. Boring.... Pedometer get ready, we're going to do some miles ole buddy. :D
Take time for reflection. Found a really great quote that really made sense...
"The childhood shows the man
As morning shows the day.' ---John Milton
Clear out my closets and fill some bags for Goodwill. Take inventory to see what needs to be replaced.
Throw out a ton of shoes!!!!!!! And some handbags too... :o
Go through all my kitchen stuff and give to the girls all things I don't want and if they don't want any of it...to the Goodwill too!
Ordering my plants for the garden. Already ordered Borrettana Cipollini plants from Territorial Seed and my organic potatoes from Wood Prairie Farm. Elbas and Buttes this year. Last year I was late and that was not good so this year I am on the ball! ;)
Plan my garden and finish ordering. It is a lot easier this winter due to the weather!!!! :D
Sounds more like a to do list!
Eat healthier and take our vitamins everyday! Instead of when the spirit moves us!
Continue to be kind and generous and send love to those who need it. Bug the kids even at the expense of being a pain in the a$$!!!!   Showing the love!!!! ;)

Don't laugh ... I really make a list like this every year.

With my Aunt, Gramps, Mom and then Dad passing all within 2 years. It has been a lot of work. First helping Mom with Gramps estate, then helping Dad with Moms, and then I inherited it all. 2 houses, my rental, my apt and 2 lg storage units and tons of stuff everywhere. So lets just say that taking care of me and my things, got put on hold. Not this year. These are a few.

- Loose 15 lb and work out daily. I'm looking to get back a lot of muscle I have lost over the year
- Eat healthy, and although I do, I want to just really watch my calories by, varying up my menu and eating more vegetarian based dishes
- Really watch food costs and make sure to always look in the pantry, fridge and freezer first
- Eat out 1 every couple of weeks. Doesn't have to be fancy, just treat myself
- Try to figure out how to get more than 3-4 hrs sleep per night
- Even though, I go to the beach a lot. At least 3x per week is my goal. Also walking at my state park at least every couple of weeks
- Bike riding or rollerblading 3x per week
- Swimming when the pool is warm, every other day
- Don't procrastinate on personal appointments, work I am fine with, but I am bad with my own stuff
- Get re-certified, just update my divers certification
- Try a new recipe, at least every couple of weeks

Projects
- Replace all my outside light fixtures
- Clean out the boxes from the attic
- Sell my Dad's 200 stunt kites, or some of them
- Sell or try to get rid of some of my Dad's collectibles, since the market is finally a bit better
- Sell the remaining 10 items of furniture left from my Dad's estate. They are very expensive antiques, so it isn't an easy task
- Finish my sun room with tile, painting and the wood trim, most of it I am doing myself
- Wood floors the bedroom and Den, I will be doing that myself as well with a little help from a good friend
- Go through my Dad's final box with all the estate papers and his items and pack them up in the attic
- Go through 30 boxes of Christmas decorations and re pack them down into those items I will use at this house. My house before was double the size
- Finish 5 stained glass projects
- Finish a quilt I started 5 years ago
- Take the 22 photo albums that Mom, Dad, and my grand parents had - along with my 10 and combine them into new albums. I have so many different sizes of pictures, I need to find a album that I can add to different inserts and I would like them all to match so I can date them and personalize them.

- Finally start my glass cutting business, hand made decorative wine bottles so I can attend many of the FL based art shows. It will incorporate, stained glass, hand soldered wire trim and custom corks

I have many other projects, but that is my goal for the immediate future. I hope to be done with that in 6 months. Then

... My last goal is to take a 2 week road trip up the east coast, TN, mountains, and then up to ME, I want lobster and finish back to MI, OH and back down to GA, all to see friends. Finish at St. Augustine

And somewhere along the way, just have FUN
And yes ... I will finish them all.

I'm not a resolution kind of girl. I just try to live everyday to the fullest, love those around me, and make decisions today that will make me proud to be me tomorrow. I love this:

HPR, I honestly do this every year, and 90% gets done. I have slacked off because of everything the last 2 years, so it is back on track.

I actually post this in my office on my board above my computer and I scratch them off as I get something done. Obviously some are ongoing. I guess the sense of accomplishment makes me feel good.

Like going through the pantry yesterday, it is spotless and clean/organized. Today I have been doing the fridge.

Later if I have time, I am putting in 2 new door knobs that are old, and they still work, but they bother me. I guess it is my type A personality

Mine is a combo of honey do, but since I have only me ... it is my honey do and also things I have procrastinated with, so it becomes my resolution to finish them.

Well, I don't need a resolution to live my life that way! I don't like setting myself up for failure. I know resolutins works for some but it never did work for me, by February I had long since abandoned them and then felt awfully crappy about myself. Kim, I think it is awesome that you are able to follow through year after year!
