Re: Prayer Chain
Her husband George was diagnosed with a tumor in his bladder and recently had an operation to remove it, and has now undergone a short treatment of chemo, the tumor is currently at the lab for analysis for cancer cells, which he should get the results next week for. We are praying they come back clear.
Her daughter Mandy at the same time this was all going on with her dad was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in her knee and although she is undergoing treatment is still in a lot of pain. In truth I don't really know what deep vein thrombosis is exactly but I do know from her email it's serious. Your prayers for my friend Nita, husband and her daughter would be so appreciated.
Re: Prayer Chain
We received word yesterday that FIL will have to be going through a second round of chemo. His last week for this round is next week, and then he will have 6 weeks off followed by CT scans, Pet Scans and more MRI's, until the next phase begins.
He will have 2 treatments next round, and the Doctors word is "it will kick his butt and knock him down".
I, along with Hubby and his entire family, have really appreciated the prayers, and I only ask that you could send more, as prayer is always the answer.
Thank you, one and all, for the uplifting encouragement, the laughs when times have been difficult, and the Love; it is felt.
In Light And Love~
Re: Prayer Chain
Oh Jude, I am so sorry that he has to go through this, especially during Christmas. Prayers are going out for your FIL, your hubby, and you. In my prayers I am already giving thanks for the complete cure and recovery of FIL's cancer. I believe you should start giving thanks in advance. Prayer is POWERFUL!MaMere wrote:An update to those that were wondering about my Dear FIL.

Jude, I'll continue to pray for your father-in-law and your family. I know it's rough to go through this anytime of the year but especially around the holidays. Lets just hope this second round of chemo will have better results. (((hugs)))
