That is an interesting menu! We don't do turkey on Christmas either. It's usually beef tenderloin or a prime rib. Probably tenderloin again this year since it's just the two of us.

We've never done turkey at Christmas. I do one a year, for Thanksgiving. When I was a kid we always had roast goose for christmas, with potato, onion and sage stuffing. Nowadays some of our "Thanksgiving and Christmas family" (friends in town who don't have family here) doesn't care for goose, so I do a standing rib roast with roasted potatoes and onions and whatever veggies look good in the market. DH and I have our goose on Epiphany, Jan. 6.

Everything looks really tasty...except for the squid, I'd have to pass. :shock:
I'll have seconds of the stuffed chicken thighs, though. :D
