As said, heck ... I probably have a better chance of dying driving down US 41 during 5pm traffic than I do eating years of cool whip, LOL.
Hah! I see that traffic really is never-ending! It is just as bad alll the way up here on the same road ;)

I actually use Dream Whip more often now, as my bf prefers it - and you can customize it. (Dream Whip is a powdered version - you add milk and vanilla extract and beat it for 4 minutes, then chill - the taste is more like the inside of a melted roasted marshmallow to me, delicious). The Dream can be made with any type of milk, so you can adjust it to suit your fat needs. I like that there is real milk in there.
I didn't know they still made Dream Whip! I liked that stuff!

Yep, it is in most of the regular grocery stores around here, and in Walmart. I usually find a small box of it near the Jell-O area or near cake mixes/frosting.

I use Cool Whip for some things but I really like whipped cream best.

I recently learned of a way to stabilize whipped cream that works very well and doesn't change the flavour/texture much.

To each cup of whipping cream add 1 tablespoon of instant vanilla pudding powder and whatever sugar and vanilla (or other flavoring) that you usually use. I use this to top a Skor bar "poke" cake and it keeps for several days (we eat it pretty fast so I'm not sure how long is too long). I use 2 cups whipping cream for a 9x13 cake.

I believe Cool Whip has a purpose for some recipes but nothing beats the flavor of real cream, heck I could just eat the real stuff out of the bowl, Cool Whip has an artificial flavor that just doesn't cut it for me but don't get me wrong Cool Whip is fine to use if that's your thing ;)

I use the sugar-free Cool Whip. Also, I take a bunch of prescribed medications so I'm already full of chemicals. :D
