Gerry, you have my condolences in the sudden passing of your mother. I know how you feel, as I lost my mother 11 years ago.
Also to you as well, MsPia. I didn't know. My sympathies to you and yours.

I can't say anything, that has already been said. I'm so very sorry. My deepest condolences.

I often do copy and paste and by now should know to check as see my original message is incomplete, it should have been ... 'We are hurting and how how with no forewarning or any indications could it happen.' We began the farewell journey last night, again this morning then the final good bye tomorrow afternoon and here to her resting place in Southey. I am doing a family gathering after the services. Thank you, I feel the caring, Recipezazz is so a loving and caring place.

Gerry my condolences to you, very sorry about your mother. You should be taking it easy not putting on a get together, someone else should be doing that for you! ;)

Ahh thank you Dan, those are the words I kept hearing from my family. Reception time was available in the city, the time slot was late afternoon, add a couple hours making for late to head out here... experience has me know one needs family time after the leaving ... simply told them it was the last thing I could so for my mom. Having those evening calls for 20 or more years, I am so in the missing.

The calls, cards and messages from family and friends along with your messages added great comfort during this time of loss. This Mother's Day was so not the one we planned, instead a day 'having memories sneak out of our eyes and roll down our cheeks' We gathered for that journey home surrounded in love thankful for all the treasured memories as we saw mom back to the country to the open prairie she loved where the meadow larks, robins and song birds sing. Know Mothers Day will never be the same. Thanking each of you for your comforting words.
