Anyone that has an abundance of apples is so lucky! I love making applesauce to freeze I add that into cakes and muffins for moistness

I'll be lucky to get any just to eat. 90% of the apple crop here was wiped out this year.

They're predicting 30% to 50% higher than last year. Cider is predicted at least 50% higher. According to the Michigan Farm Bureau, last year we had about 26 million bushels in Michigan. This year we'll be lucky to get 2 million. One of the cider mills on the east side of the state is saying last year they paid $75 to $100 for a bin of apples, and this year they're paying $300 (a bin is about 20 bushels).

Holey Buckets Felix...sorry to hear that as I am an apple lover! Making cider, apple sauce, and freezing apples for recipes that I hope to find!!!!
The weather has been a nightmare for growers and for those who have to pay the high costs at the market.
I feel for ya...we got lucky this year. Last year we had a poor crop so this time around we were pretty excited. Same with the tomatoes. Bumper crops even though we have been in drought.
Sure hope that the rain comes this fall and snow this winter or next year will not be pretty.
