And no we didn't go out and buy a soda just for the bottle - we used one we had on hand. I'll continue to use my old fashioned method of tossing the egg back and forth between the two cracked half shells, but this was pretty clever and kudos to whoever thought of it.
Luby -- so it actually WORKED??????? That is so good to know. I'm not sure I'll reach for the soda bottle everytime I need to separate an egg, either. But maybe if I needed to do more than 3 or 4 I might -- especially when it's one of those times you can't get ANY yolk into the white. Tell your husband I'm proud of him for showing you something new!!!!!!!!!

So many of those "hints and helpers" don't actually work as they claim/say they do -- so I'm excited to know that this was the real deal!!!!! And none of your egg yolks broke during the process??? That's amazing.

Oh Bobbie...it was a tough one. Sure hope we get moisture this winter. Or next spring will be very very rough.
Wheat was better than expected. Thank the Good Lord!!!! Now we hope the beans aren't as bad as they look.
A little reprieve then we start combining the beans. But I'll be back!!! Later! ;)
