I used to nibble when I was kid, now I just chomp! I'ts not one of my favorite candies, but my boss at work is allergic to chocolate (poor thing), and she just LOOOOVES candy corn.

I'm not too much of a candy eater, except this time of year. I've got 50 Trick-or-Treat bags made up, which will probably mean that no kids will ring the doorbell! Here's hoping that our Halloween doormat and light-up spider on the porch will help!

I posted in another thread that i love the combination of candycorn and salted peanuts together. And in fact this is the only time of year I do that...
I also make a good candy corn fudge recipe that actually belongs to Sue Lau originally. I make it every year at this time. Tastes just like a payday.

Wow, CoffeeB, the mix of candy corn and salted peanuts sounds like it would be right in my boss's wheelhouse. After what we did to her today (scared her to death with a very lifelike toy rat hidden in the file room) I should probably do something nice for her! Have you posted the candy corn fudge recipe?

I'd like to Marion..but it's Sue Lau's recipe. Here's the link. : I do make a few alterations to the original...like using marshmellow cream instead of marshmellows and cutting back on the amount of peanuts called for.

I think you should make up a small little dish of the mix of corn and nuts Marion. Your boss would appreciate it after your little schenanigans.
