Re: ~ Click to Feed the Animals ~
I must start checking the weather busy or not, we had two phone alerts to be prepared to shelter about five and at eight with two touching down near Regina along with others right across Saskatchewan. And yes I was outdoors. I was more than surprised when Cathy messaged. Checked Saskatchewan Severe Watch, while we downgraded to storm alert with hail as the evening progressed the tornadoes were still touching down to the north.
Having had a 60 foot evergreen downed by a severe storm a few years back I stayed up til midnight as the matching 60 footer is across from my bedroom window. Realizing with back issues as they are right now I could not carry my two beloved pups down I am trying to designate a place for us to shelter. So happy to hear you have a wonderful day planned. Enjoy!

Gerry...I think you got some of the storm we had here! Thank goodness you are ok!!! Scary stuff!! And I know you take care!!! (((Hugs)))
Brutal day outside yesterday...but got 'er done! Yesterday a full dump truck full of wood was dropped in our driveway and then we filled it with DH's hoarding and he hauled away an old vehicle too! And this morning a family is coming to take the things I have put aside for them.
Dogs have a way of finding people who need them. And filling a void we never knew we had!!!

Woke to feels like four, poor tomatoes and peppers the nights should be no cooler than10. We are getting a nice slow rain here and thankfully missed the tornadoes and hail. But once again Mother Nature it's June and tempted to turn on the heat to take off the chill!
So happy your summer projects are going so well Patti. The long awaited tree project was supposed to start today, will need to dry before that can happen. Looking like an indoor day at the moment.

Yes...Mother Nature does rule when it comes to outdoor things to do Gerry! Hope you will be able to get out and do what need to your hearts content. Love your quote!!

Been a week of busyness!! So far 6 days straight of heavy outdoor work and 1 day of cleaning my house! Thank goodness that I have been given a body to deal with this at my age!!!
Hopefully will have Saturday to visit my friends in town for a somewhat relaxing day. The logging trucks are running 5 days a week now. So I do not travel the road as it has many curves...and the trucks take their half out of the middle. Not fun at all...in fact quite scary!!!

We are getting so much rain these days!!! YiPPIE!!! I don't even mind getting wet anymore! This is unusual weather for the end of June. The forest around us is lush and green! What a beauteous sight to behold!! Prayers are being answered!!
A dog is like a Liberal, he wants to please everybody. A cat really doesn't need to know that everybody loves him.
Re: ~ Click to Feed the Animals ~

Hope you are having a better day Gerry! Rest and please don't do anything that can wait! Wish I was there to help you!!! (((Big Hugs!!!)))
Long day in town today! And the weather is unstable at best! Will be an interesting day. Taking Chico with so he can visit at the care home and then play with his buddies at a friend's home.
I don't understand people who don't touch their pets. Their cat or dog are called a pet for a reason! Right??!!!

Thank you Patti, it's been more than challenging, while the drizzly days did see me ease off to rest that leg, I do need to remember sheer determination and a high pain tolerance go a far way in managing pain remains there is that fine line to keep things from getting out of hand and once again this year I crossed it.
Have to to thankful I had a couple days great care at our new impressive Urgent Care, supposed to be off my feet, how much I accomplish today or this week will be a matter of how the healing goes. Wishing you a great town visit Patti!

Best quote EVER Gerry!!

We are finally getting some sunny days! Not complaining about the rain...heaven knows how much we need it.
Cats are moody. Dogs can hear a package of food opening half a block away, but don't hear you when you are in the same room! Right???!!!
Re: ~ Click to Feed the Animals ~

Hope you are still taking it easy Gerry! (((Big Hugs!!!)))
Another sunny day that is to be a hot one...30C plus. As DH put the hummingbird feeder on a pulley system...I have noticed that the ants are crawling up the rope. So I went out and slathered the line with Vaseline. The ants are not going up to the feeder anymore. I am a happy camper and I bet the hummingbirds are too!

Hope you are feeling a wee bit better today Gerry! (((Hugs!!)))
Went out early yesterday morning to mow as we were expecting a thunder storm (in the morning). Well...the storm did not hit here until well into the evening. And it has been raining since last night! YIPPEE!
