Hopefully the pill popper will get 'er done! Love Main Coons! I have never had one but we used to have one in my daughter's family. He has been gone for many years now. He was huge and his name was Moose (so fitting) and he was so mellow! lol
Cooler here today (so far) with cloudy skies. No threat of thunder/lightning until Monday...and that can change. Who knows anymore???!!!

Always enjoy your quotes Patti, so true many times our words cannot say what are heart is feeling.
Maine Coons are gentle giants so full of love, along with the non stop purrs come gentle paw strokes and grooming kisses and hand holding! As for the pill popper, they said add water and pill will squirt in. Me pill so little scared it will get lost in the giving so still working on popping it in. He is so gentle but tries to spit it out. I'm getting better at it and he still loves me. I suspect he will need another round.
Have a huge pan of peppers roasted for Red Pepper Soup, the rest will be measured and added to the freezer stock for future soups. We have been missing the rain do one lot of watering when it cools down.

I make Bea's #recipe11394. It is a fast, easy and delicious! I have found a large jar of roasted peppers from Europe. They are not bell peppers and they are a lot bigger. I can not eat bell peppers so these ones are perfect for me. I buy them in Freshco. (1500mls)
Hope you will enjoy your day Gerry and that your fur babies are (getting) well!

Thank you for the recipe Patti as I have another bowl of peppers to go, so no surprise Bea's recipe has already been printed! At one point I was trying one lot of both pepper and tomato soups trying to replicate ones I had very much enjoyed at restaurants. So many recipes so little time!

I am sure you will enjoy Bea's soup Gerry! My days are busy and this is my go to recipe for a quick dinner. I make it a couple of times a month...because I have all the ingredients on hand and it is fast and easy with the jarred peppers and so delicious!
Off to the wound clinic this morning. It is healing, albeit slowly!
Wishing you a fabulous day!

Been a good start to the day sunny and windless! Got one lot of weeds gone yesterday then off for a late afternoon appointment for Fluffy which sees him much improved. I asked about the pill popper, it was no water but found this one does! Finally did a trial run on the counter last night. Works like a charm. Happy for Fluffy! I was dreading another week of meds. He is so laid back but has been spitting it out again and again. This morning's pill time was not only quick but super easy.
Back to watering and the battle of weeds, unreal some I have never seen before and some not since since the country days and even then rarely in a garden. On a bright note the birds have added some lovely surprises that have started to bloom!
Hope your clinic visit goes well Patti, there will be soup this weekend!

Hello sweet ladies.
Shew, well, it's been an exciting week. First week of school in the books already, and today we had to dismiss early due to inclement weather. We are under tornado watch until 7 pm EST. Flash floods, but I made it home okay. I am tired and not sleeping well, but hopefully my body will get back into a rhythm and routine. But it will probably be large batch meals we can eat on most of the week at our house for 2-3 weeks until I get settled back in.

That is a lot on your plate Misa! I can't imagine being under tornado watch...I hope it passed by you and you are safe! I so understand about big batch cooking. I used to do that, and now, with just the two of us...I still do that during the summer, as there is so much outside work to do everyday. And I am usually a wee bit tired. Good thing DH is an easy feeder!!! lol
Wishing you a glorious day!

We have been getting thunder storms with RAIN!!! Which is a blessing...as it is keeping the forest fires in our area at bay. This is the first year since 2017 (first forest fires and evacuations) that there has been no fires in our area!
Wishing you a marvelous day!
