I have never thought of looking at life like that! Your quote made me smile too! :-)

Wow Gerry...I didn't think anyone else used that expression (back 40) and knew what it meant!!! That is toooo funny! LOL Did manage more mowing yesterday and will finish up today (hopefully).

Prayers on the way Gerry for a positive outcome that it will all work out for you! Either way you will find some way to make it work!! Your tenacity will see to that! LOL You are a very strong determined lady! :-)

Clicks in early this morning.

Always look forward to your morning quote Patti, being a great believer in the power of prayer thank you as I too am hoping for a positive outcome. It's been one long year, I do remind myself my surgeon said arthritis sees many young people in wheel chairs so there's always something to be grateful for.

A beautiful morning here but forecasting high temps and once again our area it's "Keep a close eye on watches and warnings through the day"

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day, friends!

Getting a little beading in, but not sure it's actual progress. Making sample pieces to figure out what I'm going to do with the bear I made at the metalworking workshop. :?

Clicking :D

Good to see you stop in Misa, years back daughter's friend loved working with metals, went into metal works designing jewellery now sells world wide. I am fortunate to have been gifted with several of her beautiful one of a kind rings and earnings. Since you do such lovely beading you may want to think to adding metal designing to your hobbies.

Hope you have your mowing done Patti, I only have a small grassed area, two 60 foot evergreens saw small happen. I was going to see that gone and plant in more ever blooming day lilies which would see the end of mowing but these days sees the step to the sidewalk awkward for not only me but daughter who is awaiting surgery so grass it stays as easier and safer access. With the other 60 foot tree gone I purchased a good quality bag of sun and shade seed which with this intense heat happy I didn't get to the planting to thicken up.

Once again we were under a major red storm alert yesterday and guessing likely heat as well. Unfortunately to the north a major Plow Wind with damage much like a tornado snapped off, pulled up trees as well as snapped power poles, Sask Power overly busy. Many areas hail and wind. Beautiful morning haven't had the heart to check the weather channel as unsettled weather has been predicted.

Happy Sunday, my Sunday as always started with a hymn, sharing one of my favourites that touches the heart and lifts the spirits 'So Nimm Denn Meine Hande' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC8geLRfBtQ and the English Version 'Take My Hand and Lead Me' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R48rgW4tgdo

Good that you keep watch on weather warnings Gerry! The last thing you need to become is heat exhausted! I have had that...and let me tell you...it is not pretty! Love your quote!

Sometimes I have the same problem Misa! I spin and then looking at the fiber begin to wonder what it should end up being. I love that process! Gets the creative juices just a flowin'! I am sure it will come to you soon! And have fun with that! :-)

Did manage to finish up the mowing yesterday! Had a breezy cooler day...thank goodness! And today is a quieter, no physical work for me. Will check out the hymn Gerry!

I watched and listened to the hymn Gerry and it brought tears (grateful tears)! Thank you for posting. :-)

Wishing you a glorious day! :-)

Clicks are in.

Had a lovely afternoon at Cathy's yesterday, such a lovely outdoor area but weather did not cooperate so no barbecue instead we did the indoor thing. Today unreal, we have gone from intense heat to a morning of 11 C which is barely 55 F! And windy. Indoor quiet time day for me unless that wind goes down.

Your quote so perfect for reminding us of our options, some days we do manage the impossible. I love St. Francis of Assissi quotes.

To a wonderful week.

Clicks are in, have to love 'double click' days.

Early morning woke to 'feels like 5 C which is 41 F ... and it's July. Having lived in a beautiful valley I have seen snow fall every month of the year here in Saskatchewan except July, I am told it has happened but I refuse to look it up in fear that it has! Seems unreal to go from intense heat to these temps.

Along with wishing our neighbours to the south a very Happy Fourth of July I did an early morning stop at my family and friends fb account to send an e card and birthday wishes to son, a birthday that sees us celebrate both Canada Day as well as the Fourth of July. :)

Our weather here has been much the same Gerry! May and June saw highs in the 30's and now it is so much cooler with high temps coming once again this week. Mornings have been 8C for a few days now. Soooo odd for July which normally is our hottest month of the year. This is when it kills all the flying biters etc. But not this year. ERG!

And this quote made me laugh out loud today!
