Cookware & Cutlery Online Store: Green Pan

Post by RZ-Admin » Sun Mar 05, 2023 9:34 pm

Have you heard of Green Pan? I hadn't so I'd love your opinion if you have one.

We're considering them as an affiliate, so I'm doing some due diligence.

Please click this link. (Don't buy anything.) I just want to see if their reports show any clicks.

If you have any feedback on them, I'm all ears. :)

BTW - I'll be looking into what discounts they can offer our members.

Is it using a do-follow link or a nofollow link?
In my opinion, that is more important than the product itself. (what Google thinks about them)
If the rel is follow and they turn out to later be penalized by Google, Google will sink you with them.

Looks like the forum is 'follow' by default, but it's an affiliate link from an established company, so I'm not worried about spam. I'm more interested to know if anyone has any of their products or has used their customer service.

I'm also trying to see if the clicks properly track on their affiliate reporting.

Hopefully, by becoming an affiliate, we'll be able to offer members discounts & see what else we can figure out with them.

But, first due diligence.

Thank you for testing those links. I saw the clicks in the report, so that works. :)

I created a 'Shops' page. The idea here is for all the proceeds to go back to the community. Half to funding contest prizes & half to give to the Mods.

So if you're going to shop anyway, might as well click one of the links on the Shops page before you do. You can find a link to it in your drop down menu. And... HERE! :)

Click to Shop the Curated Stores and Feed the Mods and the Contests

Living in small town Saskatchewan I do not do one lot of online shopping but do shop Amazon Prime for much of my needs. Makes life so much easier! Your Amazon link takes me to my .com account which I no longer use, could you possibly add a link for the Canadian Amazon.ca? :)

Gerry & Bea,
I checked with Amazon & it's supposed to redirect you to the .ca or at least give you the option. Maybe try it on a different browser? I'm guessing your .com account was logged in, so it recognized that. I also have an issue with having both .com & .ca accounts, but I think most people will just have .ca and it will work. Or just .com & it will work.

Is there someone in Canada who only uses Amazon.ca that can check please?

You should go in manually and change any affiliate link rel to no-follow. There also needs to be a FCC disclosure someplace on the page.

Have you thought about becoming an Amazon affiliate? You get full control of which products you feature and the bounty extends beyond the hit page to whatever purchases the visitor makes while there.
