I saw a contest for them about 2 hours before entries closed, so I tossed them an old one, which some of you guys know won the ready set contest somewhere else.
I also recently won in another contest, for King's Hawaiian.

This one has a nice prize (albeit not really a monstrous prize)- $300 restaurant dinner of my choice, a limo ride to and from the venue and a year's supply of Hawaiian bread.
I thought I might have a shot at winning the bread alone and that if I won I'd throw some my daughter's way. She likes their bread.
I think I'll be drowning in all that.
Not sure where yet I want to go eat but it will probably have black truffles on the menu.
I've always liked being in contests just for the challenge. Well, at least when they are not contests to see who has the most friends and/or reviews-votes. There are a ton of those about. For me it has always been about the food and bettering myself as a cook.

Well, the prizes don't hurt either. ;)

I've started looking at other contests. It sounds like a fun diversion from the ordinary. And if I win, great! If I don't, I still get to eat yummy food.
