Replacement for Igoogle homepage

Post by Cilla » Mon Jul 08, 2013 6:36 pm

Since Igoogle will be a thing of the past in a few months I was wondering if any of you know of a site that is similar with the options to add to the page? I will miss my Igoogle.

Thank you.

Use the Google Chrome browser and when you open a new tab, look at the bottom of the page and click on apps (web store). Then add apps to Chrome.
Firefox also has a bunch of apps.

I know!!! I will miss it too. We have internet explorer also, and I don't know what we will go to yet. Seems like a lot of people use chrome and like it, but we just don't care for it. We have sampled a few different ones and are not real happy with any of them. We figured we would wait about a month before and then see if they come up with something else. It seems to be a hot topic with with a lot of igoogle users.

Firefox here. Have had multiple issues with Chrome, but know many who like it.

I love my chrome. Very easy to use, FASTER than IE ever was. Love the ad blocker and all their apps to choose from.

Thank you all for the imput. I downloaded the chrome on my desktop and it killed my computer so a little weary of that. I guess I want something just like I have so I can add news site and cooking sites on my main page. I already have MSN with my subscription for my dsl or the option of yahoo but I can't "custimize" those.

I'm scarred to do the chrome since the last time I had such dire results. I'll check into it again with maybe a more successful outcome.

Thanks!
