Dissie, there is a place you can look up almost any brand and model number and there will be an owner manual for it. Would that be helpful to show which order to do things? http://www.manualsonline.com/

Thanks Heather . . . this is great information. Think I should move the instructions to their own topic under (ABM of course) so it's easy to find. Totally agree about measuring . . . especially when using an ABM! The best way to do that is using a kitchen scale! Love them!

Dissie, I hope your bread turned out great! I love my breadmaker; I bought it back in March I think and have purchased only 2 loaves of bread since. I played with lots of recipes and developed one that works every time with my ABM. So if you haven't found the right one you might want to give this a try:

This is our "everyday bread" but I do make other kinds as well.

Edited to hopefully correct link.

Don't know why, but when I tried to access the recipe it was unable to find. Also tried doing a search (a couple different ways) and it doesn't show up. It has already been approved hasn't it?

I fixed the link, I think. I didn't put it in correctly the first time.

The recipe was approved quite some time ago so it should be available. I'll go back and check and make sure it is not "private".

Edited: No, not private. I know the first link was not done right. Should be okay now.
