Poolish . . .

Poolish is a pre-ferment made from the same ingredients as the dough, but is left to develop for a long time, usually overnight! It enhances the flavor of the finished product. I've posted a recipe for poolish as well as several recipes to use the pre-ferment.

Finally got the Pretzel Roll recipe posted . . .they're the photo at the top of this thread! They easy and fun to make . . . plus have 'wow' factor about them!

Very cool recipe for pretzel balls! I would never have thought to boil water and place dough in it before baking.... :o

I recently found myself without any bread (GASP!!!!!!) in the freezer and needed a quick solution, so did a little research and bit of re-formulating and came up with this recipe.

So pretty! The egg wash tops make it so shiny and it almost looks like you drizzled honey on them!
