Thanks KC it was so delicious. The first time I did it I could not believe how good it was and how different from raw romaine (I love it raw too!)

Same B, I love it anyway it is prepared.
Grilled cabbage red or green and radicchio is also amazing and a totally different flavor.

I drizzle radicchio with honey and balsamic and it is delish!

A definite grill fest tonight. NO pots, NO pans. Just a plate and fork.

Salmon - nothing more than Williams Sonoma Lemon Herb Season, fresh cracked pepper and sea salt. A roasted lemon squeezed over the top and I also cooked a grilled lemon slice on top. Will post tomorrow as a method recipe for grilled salmon - Grilled on a cedar plank. It comes out so tender, moist and it almost looks raw it is so moist and it cooks slow. About 20 minutes. Delicious

My Zucchini, Summer Squash and Tomato Casserole. Apparently, I didn't post it. It is: zucchini, summer squash, tomatoes, onion, Italian seasoning, and montery jack cheese.
Layer 1, olive oil, zucchini, onion, tomato, cheese and Italian seasoning
Layer 2, summer squash, onion, tomato, cheese and Italian seasoning
Drizzle with olive oil and bake. Or in this case ... I grilled. I covered with the other pan to make some steam. Came out perfect. Took about 30 minutes.

Last one ... My Olive Garlic Butter
A simple mix of green and black olives with minced garlic and unsalted butter. Just mix and spread on toasted baguettes. Fantastic and easy. I used 1/2 stick butter and 3 tablespoons or so of olives, but use as many as you want.

So 4 methods of Grilling:
1) On a cedar plank; 2) In an aluminum pan; 3) Fruit on the grill to become a garnish or sauce; 4) And toasted baguettes

Here is the result. A few pics; sorry if too many, but because it is summer grilling I thought it would be fun to post.

Thx QB, sounds like a fun time last night. I love grilled food. Even on a gas grill when I use my smoker box you still get that good grilled flavor.

And the salmon on the plank cooks so slow; the upclose piece looks raw, but it is just so moist, but it doesn't cook fast, so it gets that almost steamed affect. It is really good, but the cedar taste as well.

Hello all,

I'm back from camp and just finished downloading the photos I was able to snap up of the grilling adventures this weekend, lol. I was hoping to take more but things were way to busy which was fine as I had a great time :D

I made an awesome smoked pork on my grill smoker. I marinaded it in apple juice for 24 hours, patted it dry and made a rub with pepper, garlic powder and salt and patted it over the roast before putting it in the smoker. I soaked alder chips in apple juice and brown sugar and It put in the smoker for 10 hours at 250 degrees before it reached the proper internal temperature (170 degrees). It got rave reviews...

A grilled Spaghetti Saquash, I just placed it on a baking sheet with a bit of water on the bottom of it and cooked it over direct heat.

Image

A perfect side to just about anything, grilled mushrooms and onion skewers. I just mixed a bit of olive oil with pressed garlic together and brushed it over the skewers and grilled them up.

I had the kids over and they are constantly eating!!! I BBQued them up a box of frozen wings for a snack in between meals, lol....

Great job QB. That pork looks absolutely perfect. Not to say everything else looks great. What perfect grilling technique. Those mushroom and squash look fantastic too. I love spaghetti squash on the grill.

Onion and mushrooms skewers are great! I'm sure everyone couldn't of been happier with your feast.
