Great looking hot sandwich Derf. I like the ideas of adding veggies to it, I usually just have the chicken with gravy over bread......

Garlic croutons for soups, once you've made your own you'll never want to buy them, these are crispy crunchy and wonderful to top off a soup, deliciously garlicky

Hadn't made these for a while and forgot how good they are, had to keep Don away from eating them right out of the oven

(the aroma is outrageous

Bergy has made reviwed and snapped Der's Old English Cabbage soup
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/old-en ... bbage-soup
It isn't the prettiest of soups but it make up for it with it's flavour - I happened to have some saffron so I used it. The cloves and mace add a
special flavour. The recipe made 8 serving I have six left in the freezer. Thanks Derf great recipe
