Would money saving topics fit in this forum?
Re: Would money saving topics fit in this forum?
I feel that it would fit in perfectly Heather, if you want to do the weekly challenges here too, then that would be wonderful, cooking on a budget, leftover makeovers, the challenges are all welcome topics!HeatherFeather wrote:In the old site, we used to have the Cooking on a Dime forum, but that didn't make the cut over to the new site. I was thinking that Menu Planning does tie in very closely with cooking on a budget. Would such topics (such as the weekly grocery store challenge) be ok to post in this forum?

I think having others for encouragement would also help

Re: Would money saving topics fit in this forum?

I'm wondering where best to post this question. There is a food bank for the graduate students and their families at the school where my husband teaches. These students are on tight budgets! Also, many are newlyweds and young families who don't have much experience in the kitchen. The director knows I love to cook and asked if I would consider collecting recipes to share with the students/families. She will tell me a few items per month. Could I share those items someplace at Zazz - maybe here - or wherever is appropriate, so that I can share some of the Zazz community's knowledge and recipes with these young cooks?
Thanks

I think you can just start a thread in this same forum for meal ideas and inside list the main ingredients, what you are looking for, etc. Plus I am sure some of us here would discover some awesome recipes from others along the way.

I think it would fit in perfectly here, Ahma!Ahmafor3 wrote:MaMere I was wandering if you would like a coupon thread started here. I will get it started and anyone can stop by and add their links to coupon websites. Was thinking about a coupon exchange too but not sure if that would work out to well.
