I have eggs in the refrigerator for the dyed Easter eggs... I hope they look like yours!

Oh I'm sure they will. I made them with the granddaughter last night and she peeled them this morning. Never gets old watching the reactions.

I have 4 colors... the purple and the red were made with the drop food coloring (leftover from some other project), and the orange and the green with the gel food coloring. I wanted to buy a set of the drop food coloring for dying the eggs but I couldn't find the drop stuff anywhere in town... I had to whisk and whisk and whisk the gel stuff and it kept dropping to the bottom of the container in a coagulated glop of gel. I wish I had been able to get the drop food coloring. I'll have to order some online and have it shipped to me. It never occurred to me that it wouldn't be available locally, in the store. Anyways, we'll see if the color takes!

We have used yellow onion skin to get a natural deep tan and sage leaves to get a subtle green.
