French Meat Stuffing Recipe

This French Canadian traditional potato and pork stuffing is a recipe we really enjoy. You mix mashed potatoes with cooked ground pork or sausage and mix it with cubed bread, butter and seasonings, then stuff it in the bird before cooking it. The end result is so delicious. Every time I have this it brings back such great childhood memories of fantastic family gatherings….

It is similar to one my grandmother used to make and looks like it would be my favorite also!

It always surprises me that back in the day without internet how many recipes our grandmothers and mothers made are the same or very similar across Canada and the US. Love those old recipes using ingredients we usually have on hand and taste so good!
