This looks fantastically delish! I'm keeping my eye out for short ribs at a decent price. I always hesitate to buy them since they're expensive with too much fat and bone but these look tender enough to cut with a fork.

These basically fell apart. Low and slow to cook. But, the bone is heavy unfortunately; but, when they go on sale ... is when I get them. They are very rich; so, luckily I don't eat too much at one serving.

These look yummy. The ings mix reminds me of some I have seen that do brisket in a crockpot. I bet these would be good in the slow cooker too.

They are, I have done that too. Just with 5; I find it easier in a small crock or the oven. More than 5; yes, the crock would work well. Definitely.

I have a few different sizes of crock- lg oval, sm oval, small qt size and the old one. Handy for keeping food warm.
