As you all know, I am only able to visit this site once in a while, but I saw this post and had to post a comment. I'm so sorry to read this, Derf always had kind words for me during my medical crisis. She will be greatly missed by all her friends.

So very sorry to hear this...my prayers and thoughts go out to her family. She has given many wonderful recipes here and from when I saw them at food.com.

I was so surprised and saddened when I just saw it posted on Facebook. I knew she was ill as I participated in a cook-a-thon for her recently. I will miss her.

I too, just saw it on Facebook. I'm so very sad. Speechless. My thoughts are with Don and the family as well as Bergy, QB and Carol. Dorothy will be deeply missed.
