Photo #2 grabbed me Yes I will be looking for the recipe. I love catfish and it is only in the last year or so that we can byt it here - same with tilapia (it's been a good couple of years that we can buy it)

Very easy, hot sauce and buttermilk and marinate up to 30 min
Dredge in 1/2 corn meal and flour. Lots of cajun seasoning.
Pan fry, vegetable or canola oil
Squeeze with lemon and a pinch of salt

Done.

So easy!
But, yes recipe is posted.

And thx B, I love catfish too. NOT just fried, lots of ways. I don't fry it often, but now and then ... I get that urge; and, I hate to deep fry, so this is the next best thing.

Looks great Kim. This is one fish my dh does like. I can't even imagine liking catfish over walleye!

Looks great. I will save the recipe just for him.

Deepster, I am like you. If I buy store bought coleslaw, I always have to doctor it up to be edible! So I don't even bother anymore. Just make my own. I love it, and we usually have it in the fridge. I guess I am a coleslaw freak, because I just love it. Cheap, just make your own! Sorry Kim, not putting your meal down, just saying what I do because I never enjoy store bought. But lots of people must enjoy store bought, cuz they always sell it! ;)

I would still choose walleye Dis, even pan fried perch. They were what I grew up on and still love. When I was in MN 2 years ago. We had perch, and OMG, it was fantastic. Nothing better.
I have seen walleye a few times; and when I do, I scoop it up!

Kim, at the bbq I went to on Friday, we had sunny's. OMG they were delicious. I bet I ate 10 pieces! It was just wonderful! Yes I love perch too. I adore most fish. Crappies are one of my favorites too. I have 3 bags in the freezer. That just might be dinner tomorrow! Just not too fond of salmon.
