MsPia, although liver and bacon is not one of my fav meals, liver pate is....I buy it, in little tins in the USA.....about 3 bucks a pop...Thank you so much for sharing your mum's pate recipe..... In heaven!!! :D :D :D

I love pate too. The ones that come with green pepper corns or truffles. Yumm!
In this recipe you can substitute Marsala for the Cognac too.
