I remember when chefs first started calling it "bacon drippings".
If you put a pig in the bathtub and let him jump out, the water falling on the floor is "pig drippings".

"Bacon drippings" occur when it miraculously rains crispy bacon.


I wonder if those chefs had nightmares wondering if they said "grease", people would look at their recipes, screaming "Oh My Gee, it's GREASE! Run Away!"
We could call it bacon bling but it doesn't change what it is. ;)
Bacon grease to me is a pretty sight!

It's cooking oil that tastes like....(you guessed it!) BACON!
"I don't like the flavor of bacon." (said no self respecting cook EVER)
