Ellie, sounds good, 'A Street Cat Named Bob: And How He Saved My Life' was not available at my e library but gleaning had me find it was on my Prime Video. On for tonight.
My next read is a memoir by Catherine Ehrlich
' Emma's Passport: One Woman, Two World Wars and a Legacy' "Part intimate memoir, part historical thriller, Irma’s Passport is an inspiring true story about remarkable women whose unsung courage restored the world we know."
What are you reading.
I think a video should be interesting -- never thought of it. Wonder if it is on netflix? I enjoyed the book and hope you like the video.
Now I am reading "Girl with Seven Names: A North Korean Defector's Story" by Hyeonseo Lee. This is very well written and keeps moving. It is the story of her life in North Korea and how she escaped North Korea avoiding capture. She escapes by herself at age 17 but keeps in touch with her family. It is her story about her experience in North Korea as a child and also of her escape and how she managed to leave.

Girl with Seven Names was very good.
Started a few other books but didn't get past the first chapter before putting it down. Now I am reading "The Dressmakers of Auschwitz: The True Story of the Women Who Sewed to Survive" by Lucy Adlington. This is non-fiction with lots of end notes, but it also describes the fashions of the day along with the women. It is really good, especially for sewers or people interested in clothes of different ages. It does describe the Jewish condition also and how the women sewed for the wives of the commanders at Auschwitz and other places in Germany. Very well written.

Ellie, I agree the "The Dressmakers of Auschwitz" is an excellent read! Thank you for another heads up, I immediately went to my online library and found "The Girl with Seven Names: A North Korean Defector's Story" by Hyeonseo Lee available.
I now have it and "Bone Deep:Untangling the Twisted True Story of the Tragic Betsy Faria Murder Case" by Charles Bosworth and Joel Schwartz both downloaded, Bone Deep is a true story of a husband wrongly convicted and an NBC Mini Series "The Thing About Pam"
I also gifted myself to a Kindle book by one of my favorite authors "This Side Of Innocence by Taylor Caldwell "a masterful piece of storytelling from one of the twentieth century’s most beloved authors" My year end finds sees me off to a good start for 2023!
Wishing everyone a very Happy New year!
