I am currently reading The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent. This takes place in MA during the Salem Witch Trials and the smallpox epidemic (1752) and is about Martha Carrier and her daughter Sarah during the time of the Salem Witch Trials. This is based on a true story as told to Sarah's granddaughter. It is well written and I am finding it very interesting.
