How very true. Thank you for sharing Martha Washington’s quote Nadine. I suspect we all have times we have to really work at being happy, at those times I think to Gerard Way's 'Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect' as well as Denius Waitley's 'Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude'

I also remind myself that life is way too short to be anything but happy. :)

I try hard to be happy, but sometimes it's just not possible, life is so much better when you think positive and at least try to be happy :D

Sending positive thoughts your way DebDee, I suspect for all of us there comes a moment in time that shakes our world, I well remember many moments these past years needing to ask 'to be given the faith for the dark days, to accept where I am in life and make the most of each and every day.' Because happy is good not only for us but our families. But yes, there is no doubt that happiness is a choice that requires one lot of effort at times. Wishing everyone a happy day. :)
