the perfect fudgey brownie

Post by invictus » Mon Nov 07, 2011 11:21 am

On Saturday I made Hershey's Best brownies. I used to love them but now that I am a more experienced baker they just don't have that wow factor for me. On Sunday I tried another recipe and again mediocre but not great.

I'm looking for something fudgey, about a 1/2 inch thick, decadent, and in my mind perfect. Can you help?

I have a delicious fudgy brownie posted here. Oh and it is decadent.....and I am not a chocolate lover. But my kids wanted me to make them a batch every week, and I would usually just have one piece. Let me see if I get this here properly.

Hey invictus, I like the brownie recipe French Bunny has suggested but my new favourite is this recipe - I am not a fan of cakey brownies at all but this one is a perfect combo, maybe even the perfect brownie (for me anyway.) If I want something really fudgy I make this chocolate flourless cake recipe (it's not mousse-like), put it in the fridge and eat straight from the fridge, totally delish!
