Re: Comfort Food Recipes
Hi Cathy. There is also a Potluck Forum that might offer some ideas. Just scroll down the board index to the last section. Nothing posted yet, but it's going to be lively in the next few months, I'll bet.Cathy17 wrote:Hey! Can't wait to hear some suggestions! I am going to a Comfort Food Potluck need recipe suggestions.
An additional thought: Since the weather differs so widely for forum members, it might help to know whether your potluck will be surrounded by hot, warm, cool, or cold temperatures. For warmer months, I take lighter items such as fresh fruit dishes and chilled to room temperature main dishes. For cooler climes, I would turn to oven dishes and heartier fare.

All these dishes are real good food. All can be served from a warming crockpot.

Hi Cathy, great to see you! Mary is right. Kitten has seen to it that we have a Potluck Forum! Love potlucks, like Mary I am sure given a little time the Potluck forum will be one lively place to stop. See some great recipes offerings here that I will be giving a try - never can have too many potluck recipes, especially when one lives in Saskatchewan - it's ' Potluck Country" bigtime! One of my favorites, and one that always sees the dish come home empty - http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/dinner ... lden-oldie If you are needing a dessert http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/almost-apple-pie will see a winner on your hands. With all the great recipe choices I know you are going to have a great make and take for your Potluck party.
