From Scratch Creamsicle Cake

Today while visiting vendors at a conference, there was this wonderful cake served to us. It was a Creamsicle Cake but it was not one of the doctored box cakes. The frosting and cake colors were an identical pastel - beige-ish orange - no food coloring. The frosting was a cream cheese frosting with orange zest, and a lady next to my friend and me thought there was perhaps some liqueur in the cake. It was divine. Can anyone help?

Found this on line, do you think it might work? I can't believe out of all the ones I was looking at they start with a cake mix....I will look for more. As I am sure others might already have other suggestions. Or you might want to go over to the "Desserts Forum" and ask over there as well.
