Linda, I have added your question from the Community Events forum to this topic, if you don't mind, so others with the same question can see it.
LindasBusyKitchen wrote:My first question... Can we do more than 1 recipe for 1 tour?
Only one tag is required to sign up for a tour. If you want to do more than one, that's great! But the minimum is only one.
LindasBusyKitchen wrote: Second question... If we book a tour do we come here and tell you right away what we will be making?
Sign up for your tour in the current sign up topic. There will be one for each week, because after awhile, it could get crazy, since the tour is going on all summer long.

Week 1 Sign Ups and Destinations (May 25-May 31):

Links for all the sign ups and destinations for other weeks as well as the first week will be listed in the first post on page one:

We might need to change English to British because that is what it is under on Zazz's Cuisines. http://www.recipezazz.com/recipes#page= ... pe=recipes

So many of them won't have their own categories, such as Filipino, garlic, English, etc., but even if they did, there might be valid recipes not marked as such that would otherwise make them o.k. to be tagged. Do you think we can just judge them on merit if not by catagory tag? With a few exceptions (such as haggis), most British recipes are English and vice versa anyway. And recipes that include garlic won't all be in the garlic category anyway. But we would know without the category tags. As per category building, British recipes will fill with new English recipes, but with recipes like the garlic, that could get tricky based on the category tag limitations. Even recipes that include, for example, 1 cup chicken, 1 cup lettuce, 1 cup mushrooms, 1 cup garlic, would have garlic as a main ingredient (not that anyone would use that much, but just sayin' ) and the recipe might not list garlic as one of the three mains at all if the recipe poster put it down for just chicken, lettuce, and mushrooms.
But if you still want the required recipe to be British or apply to the category tag, we can do that. :)

Thanks! I'll hunt those up when I get off mobile, as I have the spreadsheet for the dates on the laptop. I was hoping to hear of more Canadian festivals! :D

I was just suggesting changing the word to British on the front page to save any possible confusion if someone were to use the Cuisine tab to search for something to tag. And if they are adding a new recipe, there isn't an 'English' box to checkmark. I'm not saying that only those recipes that are checkmarked into those categories qualify...I know a lot won't be. Leaving it up to players judgement is the all over rule. It's fine either way though. ;) :)
