Summer is just around the corner and that is Pot-Luck season here Yee haww......

Please do share all those great summer time recipes that could be served up at any event, be it drinks, appetizers, finger foods, fish fry, BBQ stuff, or full out smoker recipes.

Also, any tips or advice you could offer would be appreciated...

Summer sees to family reunions, community gatherings, out door cookouts, church picnics and garden parties - POT LUCK TIME! Matters not if I am hosting or doing a make and take - I love pot luck parties! We have our June weekends already planned, I'm sure many a June parties are happening. So come on in share your three best appetisers, drinks, entrees and desserts and like Bea has already said - "finger foods, fish fry, BBQ stuff, or full out smoker recipes" - share your favourite make and takes!

I live in small town Saskatchewan, where everyone soon finds out who brings what - that has everyone making sure they bring their very best. You know you have a winner when you come home with an empty dish or platter. We have our first one happening this weekend! Looking forward to our members adding their recipes and comments!

I have a few that I always take, I will put them together and post them. I have pics for some and not for others, but I will get them posted as soon as I can. These are not necessarily my faves, but they are always requested and seem to go over well and are crowd favorites.

A grilled potato salad, no mayo
Macaroni salad
Baby back ribs
Lemony asparagus salad
Vineyard rice salad
BBQ ham sliders
Minted pea dip
Corn and black bean salad
Antipasto skewers

We have "Deep Fried" Turkey Pot-Lucks twice a year here. We went to one last weekend and we are hosting one on Thanksgiving weekend. Last weekend I brought Engrossed's Maple Borbon Apple Hash to serve over the cut up turkey and everyone just loved it. http://www.recipezazz.com/node/5551
