Once again limited time sees my Long Weekend meal planning down to the wire, this year also sees to celebrating a family birthday. A good number of recipes from last years May Long Weekend makes for a good start to the holiday planning. This year our weather here in Saskatchewan is wet and very chilly with possible snow for the weekend making me think to indoor recipes.

Oh my, that cheesecake looks delicious, you have me drooling lol. It is going to be a quiet weekend for us this year, just myself, hubby and granddaughter. Everyone in the family has plans so we are babysitting. I am looking forward to it…

Our May Long Weekend was low key this year, unlike the gathering of most years. We missed the snow but it has been chilly along with wind, definitely not barbecue and gazebo weather. We celebrated the youngest grans birthday on Saturday enjoying indoor time. The first ever May Long with nontraditional food choices. The choices were met with high fives from everyone.
