OUTDOOR dehydrating!

I just watched a super cool video of a guy on 4 acres living a self-sufficient lifestyle (we're doing it on less than 2) and he shows his homemade outdoor dehydrator.

I've always used my 9-tray Excalibur but this is a hundred times bigger and uses NO power! And it looks like about 20 square feet of ground space, which is basically nothing. You could do that on an apartment balcony with space left over.

I'm doing it! Any thoughts?

Thanks for that video, How interesting, I kept wondering, how that guy got money to live to pay his eletricity bill however. Selling the sheep fur? Awesome that he can do it
