Hope all my American friends had a great 4th of July!

Reporting on some completions.....

Sorry, no photos. My daughter actually made the olive puffs and my husband made the burgers and sweet potatoes these for the 4th and I wasn't able to eat any of it, so the reviews are based on my family.
I went to acute care at the hospital (equivalent to urgent care) due to some very strange pain and discomfort and was diagnosed with diverticulitis. I've been on a strict liquid diet and now on a very bland diet... I'm sick of cream of wheat, apple sauce and broth (boring). This has not been one bit fun at all. I'll get back to cooking at some point but for now, my recipes will be going on the "late" bin. Sorry.
Hey, but maybe I'll get out of this looking like a Hollywood Siren!

Oh Nat! So sorry to hear about your diagnosis! (((Hugs))). Prayers are with you dear one! I did a quick glean of foods to eat for you...like lean protein (fish), yogurt (probiotic benefits), white rice (gentle on digestion) are just a few to give you options. You might want to check with your doctor first. As for your tags...I have put extensions on as needed.

Man that sucks that diet is horrible but that stuff is wicked you don't want any pouches

Nat I'm so sorry you have to deal with diverticulitis...my Mother had that and it sure wasn't fun...hope it heals up quickly so you can get back to normal... :YMHUG:
