Laury, I hope you find out soon what is causing that growth, and hopefully it is treatable.

I felt great after my workout, was a little worried though that I might have pushed too hard. I did pop some ibuprofen for anti-inflammatory purposes, but I didn't have a flare-up. I will have to do a workout tomorrow and probably Monday and Tuesday as we are running behind on training.

I walked 30 minutes a day in 3 10 minute segments Monday through today.

Doctors feel the growths in my lungs are from rheumatoid arthritis which we can't get under control. I have no idea why it choose my right lung instead of both lungs or my left lung. I just am glad it did!! There was no increase in the amount of growth in the last 6 months.

Laury, I am happy to hear that you have gotten your walking in this week. Awesome and that the growths in your lung hasn't changed.

I haven't done any walking and my son has decided that it is too hectic for him to try do the walking training when he is away from home from 7-4, then chores and homework. But in the end it might all fall apart anyways. Just found out on Monday that the teacher that has organized the walking/running program (and trip to the 10 K event) is leaving as of the 1st. Conflict with the boss. Her first victim, kinda amazed all us because he seemed to be the level-headed, cool-as-a-cucumber, person, unlike the rest of us, who regularly speak our minds. But with my gallbladder acting up the past couple days it is ok with me not to do the training. I killed myself on Monday, it was my middle child's birthday and she requested Hot Turkey Sandwiches, Candied Sweet Potatoes for her birthday dinner and the only cake they could find at the store was a Black Forest Cake. I ate it all and loved it, but my gallbladder has been mad at me since.

GREAT job Laury! Hoping you are doing well my friend! Don't push it, do what you can when you can, for YOU!

Crazy..ouchy. I bet its hard to be on a restricted foods diet due to gallbladder issues, I know I sure would have difficulty with it.

I've been doing the same, treadmill everyday. I feel better when I do it, but, the past couple days I have been fighting a sore throat, so have not pushed myself to get to the 4 mile mark. Sundays I take off, we all need a day of rest and reflection, imo.
I'm double dowing the vitamin c till this throat/ear thing leaves me too.

Hope you all are doing great in your quests for health & fitness.

This week I managed to walk 30 minutes 5 days. My doctor has said that 4 days a week is what would be good for me. Today I am unable to get air so I am back on oxygen. I doubt I will be out, in the living room, much or using the computer much. I hope that Tom will call soon, he goes grocery shopping with my sister on Saturdays, and let me know if she has on perfume. If she does, I will go into the bedroom before they get back.

Now that my gallbladder has calmed down, for now, my foot is acting up. On Friday I had what felt like a cramp at the base of my baby toe, now has me limping, after massaging it felt worse. I know you are all going to get mad at me and tell me to go see a Dr. But there are somethings going on, that I don't want to/can't take time off. Tonight I have a cooking demo, I will be presenting healthy cooking to parents of young children. Then tomorrow we are having a celebration for a co-worker who is leaving to become a principal. He has been here almost 7 years, so I can't miss that. There are times he drove me crazy as my son's teacher, but besides that he has been great to work with.

crazy, i surely won't tell you to go to the doctor, but i DO know what you're talking about. I haven't had back pain in a LONG time but, recently I fell, so knee has been acting up, and then, after that one feels better, then I come down with a head cold, and then that clears and my other knee starts aching....pfffft....

I'm ignoring it all, and pretending I'm still 29!

Hope that your whole body parts heal, feel great, and keep you moving along!

I hope that you both start feeling better.

Yesterday I had to go to the doctor because our insurance, Blue Cross in Florida, requires all patients receiving prescriptions for pain medicine
need to have a separate appointment with their doctor. Too many patients receiving pain medication sell their drugs and could use milder drugs. My doctor and I agree I have to be on what I am on.

The weird thing is I was looking up support groups yesterday and I ran into a new term "rheumatoid lung." I have rheumatoid arthritis. One symptom is nodules in the lung which is one of my problems, growths in the lung. Hmm!! There still is no cure but it has a name.

I have been feeling extremely tired this week for what I thought was no reason. Tom was out sick Thursday, Friday of last week and Monday of this week. He kind of told me not to exercise because he said I just look off. I have been using oxygen more. This week I was tested to see if I should be on oxygen during the day. The person came and checked how much oxygen was in my blood. I had no idea of the readings. Blue Cross decided that I should be on it all the time. I won't be but now I understand why Tom is feeling exercise can wait until I feel better.

Are any of us able to exercise recently? Last week Tom was sick and home on Monday. By Tuesday he could return to work but he asked me to not exercise because I looked as if I were sick. I agreed. Now I am coughing up a lot of mucous and he asked me not to exercise until I have a lot less phlegm. I'm not even feeling well to go to the doctor. I did find out Friday that Blue Cross feels I should be on oxygen 24/7 so I am wearing oxygen as I sit.
