OMG! 17 degrees today!!!! Didn't get the snow though so I am relieved. Windy as all get out....
Hoping that it stops blowing so Maisy and I can go out and play!!!!!
She needs the exercise just as much as I do!
Going to pick up the recommendations when I go to the city Mamere. Will let you know if I feel a difference. Will give it a month and see. Is that a fair amount of time?

Wow, nice to see everyone in here! I haven't changed anything myself, just doing what I've been doing for years.

hello everyone.

I am doing pretty good right now, day 4 without my gallbladder being inflamed, so I am enjoying it. I went a total of 3 weeks with the last attack. The meds got rid of most of the pain, except the last couple days were hell. I am doing my best to eat right but lose that battle often do to not planning my meals. But thankfully the family has wanted real greasy foods, but if they did I would probably just pull some cooked wild rice and chicken from the freezer. The rice was from when I was supposed to be doing the elimination diet. I did pick up another Jillian Michaels's DVD for when I am ready to start working out again, this one is her Yoga Melt-Down. I can't wait to try it. And walking training starts on Thursday, I will take that one day by day. Might have to fake a flare-up because I am not looking forward to walking in the cold. we go outside to walk until it gets down to -20 C, anything above that we expect everyone to be prepared.

Been out on the rollerblades which I enjoy, riding my bike 2-3 times and then my treadmill. Just a bit of everything and it is working. Down 5 lbs which is fine, a little at a time. I feel good.

I agree, the cold is NO fun to walk in.
Even when it is cold here I don't like it. I prefer the warm weather.

Well I did it, and thankfully NOT suffering because of it. I went on my elliptical last night, it was 1st day of walking training and I skipped out because I just didn't want to do it, and I have to show my son, who has to train at home I am doing this. I got on the elliptical for 44 minutes, and almost 35 of it at a great almost jogging pace too. At 37 1/2 I did have to slow right down because I could feel my gallbladder getting mad at me. But I finished my training session, got some ibuprofen in me and had a great sleep.

I am not too sure about doing the training with the school this year. My 2 favorite walking buddies can't do it this year because they don't have support workers when we have training sessions. A 3rd one found out she has arthritis in her back so is too worried about committing right now. And I have to keep my son accountable to his training, so I will have to do as much as I can with him.

So far I am up about 4 lbs from my lowest weight. Which isn't too bad I thought I was up 9, but that was when I was going through that flare-up.

crazy and Kim, good job on exercising. crazy, how did your body feel after you exercised?
I waled 30 minutes a day Tuesday through yesterday.

I went to see my doctor on Wednesday. I had lots of tests in December. The tests show nothing. They still don't know what is causing the things growing in my right lung. The things growing didn't increase in the 6 months between the tests. We did find out that I am not allergic to gluten. I was also told that White Willow Bark is related to aspirin. Since I am allergic to aspirin, I am allergic to White Willow Bark. In about a month I will have some blood tests. Maybe they will show something. My asthma doctor feels that the growths are from rheumatoid arthritis which is untreatable.
