hey I found you gals.

My internet at home is dial-up so I lose patience with pages loading so I didn't try to look up zazz until today. Hopefully in December we can get high speed again.

I don't have my motivation back yet. I really think I need a new elliptical trainer, or find new feet for mine, as they are broken and I am sick and tired of getting off to re-adjust them so the machine is stable again. And I am not going to do my work out dvd's without being able to do the elliptical too, as it helps keep my legs from being stiff the next day. And I need to take my son (aka my walking/jogging buddy) back to get his asthma checked out. He says he is doing better but I don't think so I can still hear him coughing.

Laury, awesome for you getting in your walking.

Hi Crazy, so happy you are here.
Please try not to get discouraged, or down on yourself.
Do some warm up exercises, to get that blood flowing through your muscle tissue. Just light and easy, nothing strenuous for 10 minutes, then a light routine, again, just enough now to get your heartrate up, interval training is now popular. Ten minutes of free weights (3-5 lbs) then 10 minutes of cardio, for 3 rounds. Then remember to do cool down time, again, for your muscle tissue..it is VERY important, and will help to alleviate the pain you are having...
Drink water! Hope this helps you some

I'm glad that you found us, crazy!! I was able to do another 30 minutes today, I am having an asthma attack now but exercise had nothing to do with it. I am back on the oxygen.

I am back, and I found some motivation to go with it. :D You gals always know how to get me moving. I worked out twice last week and could barely walk after that. I even had to wrap my knee because it was getting sore because my thigh would cramp up in the front and bend my knee backwards.

But I worked out yesterday and today and am feeling awesome. A little sore but nothing I can't manage. Now I am getting swamped at work, or I am doing it to myself actually. I am planning too many things for Thursday, 2 kinds of soup (1 packaged), buns (purchased) and biscuits (had a student make), deviled eggs for our lunch after our Remembrance Day assembly. Now I am starting to plan our Christmas Concert snacks. I think I am going to make everything because we had cross-contamination happen last year and a kid end up with a less severe allergy attack.

YAY crazy!! good work you! very happy that you jumped back in again, I just knew you could!

I took the week off of weights, which is fine, I needed it, but it was soooo dang funny. My oldest boxer, would come downstairs when I was on the treadmill, pick up the 3# weight, and lower it, pci it up, look at me, and lower it! Then went to the 5# weight and tried that one LOL..funniest thing ever, I asked him if he was working out his mouth and after that he carried it around like it was a prize, all tall and proud!

Way too funny MaMere, this morning I woke up to a tail on my bed, it was from my youngest's costume the kitten must have been playing with it last night.

I had to bug my kids this morning, I told them that the kitten killed something and left me a present. They laughed when they seen it was a toy tail, they thought maybe it would have been a real tail.

Well I have done my workout for the day. 1 hour total between a dvd and the elliptical. That is my kinda workout, it is hard and intense. Just happy I can do that kind of workout. Trying to convince hubby I need a treadmill instead of a elliptical, I want to take up jogging but he thinks it is bad for you, because it can be bad for the knees, but I would only be jogging on that or dirt roads never on asphalt.

That's wonderful that you were able to walk an hour, Crazy!!

MaMere, I think your dog with your weights is very funny. :D

I was able to do my half hour Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday I was on oxygen for most of the day. Today we are going out so I don't exercise. I have to have enough energy to go out to lunch. Tomorrow I won't be able to do it because housing is closed for Veteran's Day. Tom is going to a bar to be with veterans he knows. That means I am all there is. If a person is locked out, I have to go unlock. If a fire alarm or nursing alarm I have to handle it. I am not looking forward to this. I may tell Tom he can only be gone 3 hours including walking there and back.
