I have been watching Downton Abbey series on PBS, and I have been really enjoying it. My favorite character is the Dowager. She can be very comical at times. It reminds me a bit of the original series of Upstairs Downstairs that was on PBS years ago.

If anyone else watches Downton Abbey, tonight is the season finale of the show. 
The show is written so well. It is about the "aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in the post-Edwardian era — with the great events in history having an effect on their lives and on the British social hierarchy."It is one of the few TV shows that I watch. Maggie Smith, whom plays the Dowager on this show was also in the Harry Potter movies as the magician's teacher.

I just watched the series on Amazon Prime, all three seasons. What a great show! I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. The third season dropped off a bit for me, but overall I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
