Labor Day Weekend

My son and daughter-inlaw are bring my 3rd grandchild ( grandson ) down from VT. to meet the family for the first time. He will be 12 weeks old.
We are having 2 get togethers, one for one of my other sons inlaws and family and one just for family and friends.

Not really sure what the menue will be but I can bet on crabs, burgers, shrimp and hotdogs.

Shadows... Congratulations on the new addition to the family. I bet you can't wait to hold that little bundle of joy in your arms! We don't have any new babies in our family right now (the youngest is now 4) so it's time for another one

That's right Kim... Being laid back and enjoying the time off from the same old grind is always good!

Since Canada and the US are fighting over lobsters, you can buy them off the boats for about 2.00 a pound, so now I can get a 5 pounder hehe! I eat till I can't eat any more then clean the body and I have enough for a huge lobster roll in a sub roll. It's amazing how much meat is in the body, especially on the large lobsters. Now all I need to get are some bibs

It will be a lazy weekend for us. The rain from Isaac will be getting here by Friday sometime, and is supposed to rain for a couple of days. We don't mind. We need the rain badly! I will probably just do a little sewing, cooking, reading and napping.
