I have a plan! :D

Granted, I won't get to eat them until about 11pm, but whatever. They're going in the crock pot in the morning. Plus I bought some deli macaroni salad and redskin potato salad. And I've still got the mixed berry salad. I'll be eating better than I have since I got home from vacation!

Morning All ...

Yes, it is the morning; well 1:30 am. Just got home from work and now I can't sleep. Go figure. I worked from 5 ish to midnight.

Still dry, but a good chance of rain tomorrow (well actually today). AC still not fixed, but it does cool a bit at night, but 88 during the day is a bit toasty.

Had the rest of my Velveeta Rotel burgers at work tonight. Da' boys loved them, salad, chips, pickles, etc. It was easy - but good.

Hopefully AC guy today, cooking for the Ladies Card/Game night which is every Fri. Home Depot and some plants if it doesn't rain; then work the midnight shift again, but I will be inside working on the computer system and inventory, boring ... but should be a short night 4-5 hours.

DINNER:

Ladies #1 and #2: Three (3) chicken wings (baked not fried), terriyaki, honey bbq and herb butter; 3 fries - zucchini, parsnip, and sweet potato with 3 dips (also baked); stuffed mushrooms; chopped salad in lettuce leaves

Me:
I'll either eat before I go or take it to work and grill it there.
Ham steak with a basic brown sugar mustard glaze; baked beans; and surprise ... more tomatoes

I picked another 7 large tomatoes today and probably 30 more cherry tomatoes.

------------------------------
Well, good night to some and Morning to others. Hopefully I can fall asleep at some point.

I hope you got some sleep Kim!

I'm not sure about tonight. I am getting a new fridge this afternoon so I have tried to eat leftovers and such the last few nights so I didn't have too much to transfer over to the new fridge.

Also my 11 year old has a scheduled 7:30 baseball game which means we have to be out of the house by 6:30 and given the delivery of new appliances I just don't know how much time I will have to whip something up.

Here are my options: a smoked gouda and roast beef sandwich on challah bread with thinly sliced apples; a quickie "creole" dish with boxed spanish rice, canned tomatoes, and kielbasa sausage; leftover soup from last night; or fend for yourself!

Inv, thx. I slept 4 hrs from 4am till 8. That's enough for me.

Enjoy the new fridge!! Exciting.
AC 1/2 working and guy tomorrow, so it will be glad to get it working. Thankfully, cloudy today and cool, so it is only 82, probably 86 by the end of the day. I don't mind 82, but warmer is hard to sleep.

Afternoon Everyone, happy June 1st.

Well the rain has arrived in Cats & Dogs with high winds. I have been out this morning shopping. The winds are so strong that an umbrella is not usable. So even my butt is wet.

Early's is so nice I wish I could take you all there! The price is just slightly above the chain brands. The service is "excellent" with all the girls looking like the video "I am addicted to love". I thought as I was sitting there last night how a business could get away with employing such a strict code. I will say that I have never seen so many short black skirts.

This evening I am home alone as Dd is meeting her girlfriends for dinner. I must have missed my invite, lol. To tell you the truth I would not mind an evening in. It must be my age.

I have started working on my breakfast (eggs/bacon) & lunch (shrimp) menu for Sat. as the house will be full. I have also arranged a sitdown meal for Sunday night & will be making Church's grilled steak. I have 10 frozen very nice prime ribs. Sides still to be decided.

Sounds like a nice time with the dd. Rain, we actually got some too. It is keeping the house temp cool with NO AC. Looks like we will get more rain this afternoon which is a good thing.

Have a great weekend with all your guests! I will be working a bit, yard work and hopefully the beach Sunday; nothing much going on here.

I couldn't be happier to have ribs in the crock pot. It has not stopped raining for about the last year, the temperature keeps going down (52F at 3:15pm), and it's windy as all get-out.

My house smells wonderful, though! It almost makes me feel warm. :D

Time is now 8pm. Temp. 55.9 & all windows open. My lovely flowers have taken a banging. It continues to rain cats & dogs.

Church, I purchased the proper peppers today for the stuffed. Looking forward to making them next week.
