I ended up making an italian sausage pasta dish with fresh tomatoes and basil, so tonight will be the bacon wrapped chicken.

Morning everyone. Cloudy day here, but very warm.
Hopefully some rain this afternoon.

Work was so quiet last night, I could of fallen asleep, but got a lot done.
Right now I'm waiting on the plumber to fix my dishwasher - so I'm not going anywhere.

Lots of work to be done in the house, so I won't be bored.

Tonight:
Mangrove snapper with a creamy shrimp sauce; broccoli; and a tomato mozzarella salad

Denise, your dinner last night from Alrecipes is on my list for Friday. I have to pick up the fresh basil.

Felix, I hope you are feeling better? How did you do that & what did you make for dinner? If I came home from work not well there would be no dinner made by me.

Tonight is a tossup leftover mac & cheese or breakfast for dinner. I am also thinking about going put for dinner but need someone to play with.

Continues to rain here which it will for the next 4 days. The weatherman says we have seasonal temps of March 2011 but it is getting warmer.

I have been throwing things out & garbage day is today. I look like I am moving. Today I am starting to de-frame my pictures. Placing more up-to-date photos framed in my home.

Church, posting over you. How is your broken foot coming? What are the plans for the foot?
After 2 MRI's and Xrays, they could find a definitive conclusion. And it seemed some how to actually be healing fairly well, despite the breaks.

So, at that point they are holding off on surgery, but depending on how it heals, I may need surgery after all. But I would rather wait to see if it heals first. However, it was feeling good, but the last 3-4 days it is really hurting. However I have been on it a lot more as well.

Time will tell.

I wanted to mention that I have girlfriends in for dinner this week. I will be starting with "split pea & ham soup". This recipe says it is the best of the best???? I will be starting this soup today. With this I will serve chicken & 2 salads.

The asian salmon and salad we didn't have last night. Last night I ended up sitting out in the cold for 2 hours in the brutal wind to watch my son's baseball game. Brrrrr it was AWFUL. Came home and warmed up the potato soup I had made the night before.

I still have a headache, but it's down to a dull roar. The lump is almost gone, and it no longer hurts on the outside. I'll live. Ended up getting lucky last night! Mom couldn't eat because she had to have her blood sugar tested this morning. So I made myself some macaroni and cheese out of a box.

As for not making dinner...yeah, wouldn't that be neat? Also if I wasn't still responsible for cooking after I've worked a full day. But no. She no longer cooks. In fact, she rarely can be bothered to heat up leftovers for herself when I'm not here even though I typically make sure to cook huge meals if I know I'll be gone for a few dinners.

Tonight I'm making my Ranch Marinated Pork Chops with steamed broccoli (I'll pour the excess sauce from the chops over it to serve) and lima beans.

Morning everyone!

I've been up since 3:30 am, so I decided to head to work to pick up some paper work and data I can work on from home. I am selling some furniture, and with people coming over; I'm sort of stuck at home. And then, I have a late dentist and eye doctor appt, so lots of stuff going on today.

I am making red beans and rice with smoked sausage. Maybe some fruit on the side.

Morning,

Church, I was also up at the same time. We should have had coffee together?

So far today I have made meat lasagna, steamed broccoli to add to a pasta dish & I am adding my split peas to my ham soup.

Having hot pastrami sandwiches & a salad with a friend during her lunch hour.

Continues with the rain here but temps are rising. My lawn guys arrived early this morning before the next downpour. Thank goodness as it was getting long.
