What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 4/24
What's Everyone Cooking Today?
My catered appie party and dinner went well last night. Rather than sleeping I fished for 4 hrs with 3 of the guests. We did well.
This am we are back in the bay from offshore; anchored; and, cooking breakfast for the guests. Then, in the dingy and back to land. I'm done!!
I'm beat, so the container of meatballs and spaghetti in the freezer is calling my name. Nuke and eat!! I did get to bring home fish too!
Breakfast: Cuban theme - Cafe con Leche; spicy black beans, topped w/Cuban scrambled eggs (pork, ham, swiss, green pepper), and finished w/tomato salsa; and, a slice of toasted cuban bread.
I will make regular coffee too, just in case.
Enjoy the day everyone!

We caught, grouper, snapper, pompano, amberjack, and mackerel for the most part. A few others here and there. A full catch. My friend is a sweetheart and will clean them up for me and freeze. I can pick them up tomorrow.

So, it is a win win. My friends son, is the one who cleans all the fish; he does a great job. I would do it; but, he always insists.
In the long run, it just all works.
Sometimes he brings me smoked fish; and I will take them over a pan of lasagna or soup or stew. We just sort of wing it.
But, YES, it is nice.

I think we are on a grilling spree. More and more meals as the weather improves and snow melts. Time to fire up the grills and smokers!!!
