What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 4/22

HAPPY T.G.I.F. EVERYONE!!! IT'S FRIDAY!

Well today starts my busy weekend.
I have a good friend/poker buddy too; whose family owns a yacht for private charters and week or weekend long fishing trips. And, do the the catering sometimes.

Today, the boat heads after lunch out with 5 guests, my friend and son; and, another good friends. They are captains and crew.

Today, I sent them with a few snacks for late day as they will be fishing. Sweet and spicy mixed nuts, and savory cashews; individual mixed berry (strawberry, blueberry red/black raspberries) fruit cups w/honey vanilla yogurt sauce. My friend already picked those up.

Tonight, a dingy will pick me up and take me to the boat where I will cook dinner on board. Chilled grilled blackened shrimp w/the dip from http://thecafesucrefarine.com/…/pan-sea ... ened-shrim…/ ; a version of http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/mussels ... onut-broth w/crusty bread; http://www.foodnetwork.com/…/b…/red-cab ... -slaw.html, grilled corn on the cob; a local FL dessert wine
Then, I head home, I have other plans

I also am taking them breakfast for SAT am, and SAT lunch too; but, just leaving it on board for them
1. SAT Breakfast: Mango bellinis, Pina Colada pull apart bread (new recipe); a plate of mixed breakfast sausages and bacon; and, melon salad w/minted syrup. They just have to heat them up, and toss the fruit with the dressing - the crew does that and makes coffee.
2. SAT Lunch: http://www.recipezazz.com/…/skinnyms-me ... n-tuna-sal… served w/small pita/flat breads, spinach, and sliced tomatoes; a creamy dill cucumber fennel salad. Each person can make their own sandwich.

I'll be leaving around 6 to head to the boat. Tomorrow, I spend the night on the boat; and will do some fishing, cooking too of course.

SO IT'S A BIT HECTIC; BUT FUN! WHAT'S ON YOUR MENU TONIGHT?

Sorry I didn't check back in; it was a busy catering night. Sounds like everyone had a good dinner. Lovin, caprese ... my fave salad of all times. I need to pick up some fresh mozz. And swiss, I'm am so much a fan of pot pie with biscuits vs crust.
