What is on your Plate for Dinner NY's Day 1/1
Well, I hope everyone had a nice NY's Eve, even if you just stayed home. The party I went to was nice. It was very casual, relaxed and fun as always.
A long story, but my son was in the hospital yesterday, which was a hard end to 2015; but, released by 8, home, and still enjoyed NY's Eve. He is fine. So, my day really was messed up.
However, everything worked out in the end.
Today, Lady #1 and 9 family members left for northern FL for NY dinner w/family; so I made a big TO GO baskets of BLT wraps, nuts, chips, drinks.
Me, basic/classic baked ham w/mustard brown sugar glaze, spud salad, and baked beans. That's it for me.

Every Jan 1st we go to our friends home for dinner. She is making a whole fillet of Sockeye salmon and I am making my 4 cheese scalloped potatoes with Cambray onions and Sue's Green Beans with Caramelized Shallots & Pine Nuts.
We have some Champagne before dinner and after we lay a plate of Christmas goodies to nibble on.

We had leftover from yesterday. DH's sister and her son came over for lunch then my daughter and son in law dropped in and feasted on finger foods.
May you all have great food on your plates throughout the year.

SixBeans, you are welcome; and, I'm looking forward to a good 2016 as well.
QB, thank you too, he is ok at least.
Finger foods are always a good thing.
