D - Every day in FL is a crap shoot, whether it rains or not. PM showers. Right, now, it looks like a dry week. I have many grilling nights under my umbrella.

Fried rice is always delicious. I love adding the brussels; almost like adding cabbage. I bet it was delicious.

Morning All!

Just a day around the house, errands, stuff; nothing exciting. I'll do some actually work later tonight. So, an easy day of cooking.

All 3 of the ladies are having: Goulash (http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/my-hom ... ulash-1314)
A mixed green salad; and, strawberry shortcake

Me: Open face steak (freezer stash) sandwich w/onions, mixed peppers, and cheese; creamy cucumber salad; watermelon

We had steaks that marinated all day in Felix's Steak Marinade. I will definitely be using this again! It was delicious! Really good! The citrus tenderized the meat! Just awesome! I also made tinfoil packets with potatoes and onions, and one with broccoli, bell pepper slices and onions. Everything was done on the grill and it was all so good! A really nice dinner!

Isn't every thing on the grill nice. I love nights like that. And, dinner sounds delish! I have a side burner on my grill, so I can use that for any pot or pan; unless I use my cast iron right on the grill. Or, if I decide to use my charcoal grill. But, it still is only like 1 pan if any. Good dinner!

Morning or Good Night?

Well, I actually did work tonight (the kind you get paid for), from about 11-now; all done - so bed time. I know, my hours are crazy.

So, I might as well post dinner for tomorrow. I have to get up early tomorrow for the Water Heater repair guy, 8am. Fun Fun!!

Dinner ... A chicken breast, slit in half, stuffed with diced prosciutto, grated swiss, shallots, and a little dijon; dusted with flour, egg, then Italian bread crumbs; pan seared. No sauce.
White chive rice from the other night leftover; and, sauteed snow peas w/red peppers.

Edit: change of plans. I realized I had those 2 lamb chops left; and, I have 2-4 small potatoes I need to use up. So, I think I will go light and have the 2 chops; and make a small batch of spud salad and call it dinner. I still have watermelon too. I always have a veggie if I want; but, that should be plenty

Shapes, I always have a couple of cans of those on hand. They work great in soups; and, they are pretty good pan sauteed too. I don't mind them at all. I always prefer fresh, but they are are great go to. And add bacon grease ... how could they possibly be bad,

I'm back home, but dinner is going to end up being something from the freezer. I left on grocery day last week, so she didn't go. And grocery day is tomorrow. There is pretty much nothing except some sad-looking celery and condiments in my refrigerator.

I think I have some #recipe7632 in there, and I know there's salsa and sour cream, so I think that'll work. I was gonna take out some steaks and grill, but we're supposed to get yet another couple inches of rain today so that's out. It will NOT stop raining!

You guys have had some nasty weather and rain Felix. We get the bad pm storms; but, they only last a hour or so. My friend is up just north of you on vacation ... rain and rain. They haven't had the best time.

Hey, that is what freezer leftovers are for. Still sounds good.
