I'm having one of those 2 weeks of just nothing goes as planned. Seriously!

A friend stopped, had to help move something; then, my son.
Next, planned to go to Best Buy, computer pad, flash drive, mouse, etc. Never got there
Planned the store, just a few items, beer and vodka ... not there either
Then, SAT on my glasses. history. How do you fix glasses, when you can't see how to fix them

So, my steak with sauteed onions and peppers is now ... steak with horseradish, topped with cheddar and steak fries on the side. Still good. Just not planned.

Gotta go with the flow.
New glasses tomorrow.

I'm out running errands all day until the snow hits, so there's #recipe4677 in my crock pot. I also still have some #recipe11873 (which is amazing, by the way), and some #recipe7295, so those will do for sides.

Morning!

Well, I did get the 2 meals delivered to Lady #4 this am. And been running errands since 6am. Tired. Today, lots of in and out -I have a list of 8 different places to go; and, of course they are all spread out,

Today, Ladies #1 and #2: Hudson's Maurice Salad (recipe to be posted; I was sure it was posted, but apparently not); and, I have made this bread before a few times, and it is very very good. http://outbacksteakhouseathome.blogspot ... bread.html; shortbread cookies - yes, I am actually baking.

Me, not sure. I still have my lamb meatballs, and also an extra chicken breast to use up; chili in the freezer and tomato soup. And, I can't grill until I exchange my tank at home depot for one that works.
I'm almost learning toward a couple of scrambled eggs and toast. I even have some bacon in the freezer, already cooked; heats up in seconds.

We had blt's for a quick supper yesterday, still mucking with the next laptop.
Today I have some knockwurst and sauerkraut and fixings for salad. Maybe some potato with that. Just rounding up ingredient odds and ends.

Morning!

Working on a cookbook review/edit for a friend; then a few errands.
A g/f is coming over tonight to pick up a stained glass garden stone I made for her. My payment ... is Chinese for dinner and a 6-pk of Tsingtao beer.
I also want to make some hummus to snack on with veggies during the day. I think I have all the ingredients.

New recipe tonight which I got from another site from a guy who got it out of the Low Carb Frieds cookbook and tweaked it. It's called Heroin Chicken, because that's apparently how addictive it is. We'll see...but it's only 2 carbs per serving. :D Serving that with the last of the roasted ranch cauliflower, and probably some lima or green beans for colour balance. And then I am getting the he** OUT of this house for a few hours. I may even drink, although that's negotiable depending on how well the walks get shoveled.

Ground beef, hot pepper relish and parm all mixed together and shaped into patties, broiled. Served on burger rolls with mustard, raw onion and dill pickle,

Morning, busy day here.

Me, a late lunch with a co-worker. I am doing some personal computer work for him. He and his wife and setting up a new business; so, doing a web page, bc's, invoice program, etc. His treat for lunch. Probably Chili's, it's close by; and, at 2pm, it shouldn't be too busy.

Then, off to the ladies (#1 and #2) to make a version of shrimp scampi. It has more white wine, lemon and herbs than the classic version; salad, and garlic bread.

Burgers and scampi sound yummy---not on the same plate though. LOL
Today I have chicken legs thawed---no ideas yet. And a head of cauliflower which may turn into soup if I don't change my mind between here and there. Stranger things have happened!
Didn't make salad last night so that may be tonight before my lettuce goes limp.
