I've got some #recipe1453 in the freezer, so those along with some Grands biscuits and a vegetable to be named later.

How's your foot Felix; hoping it feels a bit better. I know it will be a long healing process; but, hopefully the meds are helping a bit.

Haven't even seen the doctor to begin to get it fixed yet (appointment with the ortho guy is Tuesday morning, when we'll determine if it needs surgery or just to be set). There's constant, throbbing pain which spikes into the stratosphere every time my toes twitch or I forget and put weight in it. Meds are keeping it down to a dull roar for the most part, and ice keeps the twitching down to a couple of times an hour.

Sorry Felix, I've been there. Hopefully when you find out Tues, something can be done. The first few days are always the worst unfortunately, pain wise I really hope they can just set it for you. That would be much easier. Hang in there.
You know the drill. Ice, elevate, meds, and stay off it. Harder than is sounds isn't it?

I am well aware, thanks. Even if I hadn't just played this same game last year, the doctors were very explicit in their instructions.

Morning!

Woke up feeling lousy today; I hope I'm not getting the flu. A few friends of mine have been sick with it.

I'm supposed to cook for Ladies #1 and #2, but my friend is going to cover for me.

Me, I planned fish on the grill with slaw and baby potatoes; but, I will have to see how I feel. Right now, food doesn't sound very good.

I'm freezer diving for dinner tonight. There is bound to be something in there that is quick and easy to make. I didn't sleep again last night so I am tired and in no mood to think about what to make for dinner. (-|

Hope you feel better soon, Kim.

Thx Elsie. Rest up ...
There always seems to be something in the freezer to throw together

Didn't make biscuits last night because we had cottage cheese and that was easier. But I did find some portions of pot roast in the freezer, so we'll be having those tonight with biscuits.

If nothing else, this not being able to walk thing is going to make a ton of room in my freezer! Which works out, since I had put most of the stuff in there so I could take meals to work with me and I'm not allowed to work.

Feeling a bit better; went to the gym and got a good work out in ... when I'm sick, it seems to help sweat it out.

Dinner, I'm still going to do the fish on the grill; baby reds and slaw. It's quick and easy, and sounds good; even though I'm not starved - I need to have a nice dinner.
